Paired Parent Connect
Paired Parent Connect runs on a Windows or Mac computer. It sets up your child's own phone over a USB cable, and shows you each step to take on the phone. You need the setup code from the email we sent you.
Download it above and install it on the computer.
Get it from Google Play or the App Store.
Open Paired Parent Connect, then plug your child's phone into the computer with the USB cable. Paired Parent Connect shows you each step to take on the phone. If the phone is signed in to a Google or Samsung account, you sign out first, and you can sign back in when the setup is finished.
When Paired Parent Connect asks for it, type the setup code from your email. The setup takes about four minutes, and the phone restarts once by itself. Leave it plugged in until Paired Parent Connect says the phone is off.
Unplug your child's phone and turn it on. When it shows Set up this phone, tap Connect to Wi-Fi and join your Wi-Fi. A square pairing code then appears on its screen. On your own phone, open Paired Parent, tap Scan the code on the child phone, and point your phone at the code. Your child's phone then asks you to choose a parent PIN of 4 to 8 digits. Keep it to yourself: it opens the parent controls on your child's phone. Then tell Paired Parent Connect you have paired it, and you are done.
If the setup cannot finish, Paired Parent Connect offers to put the phone back the way it was. Then write to us at info@pairedparent.com with your setup code, and we will help you or refund your order.
Paired Parent is for a parent or legal guardian supervising a phone they provide to their own child. Every feature described here is enforced by the software on the child's phone; where a feature has limits, the page says so.
This site keeps a visitor log: the internet address the visit came from, the page asked for, and the time. Nothing on this site tracks you across other sites. What else we keep, and why, is on the Privacy page. The photographs on this site are illustrations, not photographs of real families.
