Start with Locate now, which tells you where the phone is, or gives you the last position it had and says how long ago that was.
If it is somewhere nearby, Ring the device, on the same screen, makes it sound loudly for up to five minutes, even on silent; only someone who can unlock the phone can stop it sooner. If you think somebody else has it, the main parent can lock it from Advanced Settings: nothing on it opens until you unlock it, though emergency calls still work, and restarting the phone doesn't lift the lock. It takes effect as soon as the phone has signal, and you can undo it the moment the phone turns up in a coat pocket. Nothing is deleted.
Two honest limits. Paired Parent cannot erase the phone remotely. And if the phone is switched off or has no signal, nothing reaches it until it reconnects.
So if it is genuinely gone rather than misplaced, call your carrier and suspend the line. That is the step that actually matters, and it is worth doing before you spend an evening refreshing a map.

Paired Parent is for a parent or legal guardian supervising a phone they provide to their own child. Every feature described here is enforced by the software on the child's phone; where a feature has limits, the page says so.
This site keeps a visitor log: the internet address the visit came from, the page asked for, and the time. Nothing on this site tracks you across other sites. What else we keep, and why, is on the Privacy page. The photographs on this site are illustrations, not photographs of real families.
