Will Paired Parent work on my child's phone?

Paired Parent is made for Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel phones running Android 15 or newer. An iPhone can't be the child's phone. Phones from other makers haven't been tested by us yet, but you're welcome to try: Paired Parent Connect tells you so before it starts, and we'd like to hear how it went.

To check yours, open Settings, then About phone. On a Galaxy, tap Software information. Look for Android version. If the number is lower than 15, look for a software update in Settings; your phone may be able to update.

The phone also needs to be charged to at least 20%, with at least 400 MB free, and it can't be managed by a school or employer. If Google Family Link supervises it, that is turned off first.

We haven't tried every model ourselves. That's why Paired Parent Connect checks your child's phone before it changes anything, and tells you in plain words if its check finds the phone can't be set up.

If the setup can't finish, Paired Parent Connect offers to take Paired Parent off the phone again. Write to us at info@pairedparent.com with your setup code, and we'll help you finish it or refund your order. If you'd rather ask before you subscribe, write to us with the make, model and Android version.

Paired Parent is for a parent or legal guardian supervising a phone they provide to their own child. Every feature described here is enforced by the software on the child's phone; where a feature has limits, the page says so.

This site keeps a visitor log: the internet address the visit came from, the page asked for, and the time. Nothing on this site tracks you across other sites. What else we keep, and why, is on the Privacy page. The photographs on this site are illustrations, not photographs of real families.
