Quiet hours hold your child's texts on a schedule you set, overnight being the usual one, and deliver them when the schedule ends. Nothing is lost while they wait.
The people you star always get through, and so do 911 and 988. Calls during quiet hours don't ring through.
There is a separate setting for apps, called app quiet time, that pauses apps on a schedule in the same way. The two work together: a phone that goes quiet at bedtime and stays a working phone, with the clock, the alarm and emergency calling untouched.
It is a schedule, not a punishment, and your child's phone tells them it is on rather than pretending the messages never arrived.

Paired Parent is for a parent or legal guardian supervising a phone they provide to their own child. Every feature described here is enforced by the software on the child's phone; where a feature has limits, the page says so.
This site keeps a visitor log: the internet address the visit came from, the page asked for, and the time. Nothing on this site tracks you across other sites. What else we keep, and why, is on the Privacy page. The photographs on this site are illustrations, not photographs of real families.
