Yes, and it works everywhere on the phone rather than in one browser. Installing a different browser doesn't get around it: the filtering doesn't live in the browser, and a new browser waits for your yes like any other app.
Choose a level: Monitor only, Minimal, Moderate or Strict. Each one blocks everything the level below it does and more. Malware and phishing are blocked at every level, and pornography at every level except Monitor only. It starts at Strict until you choose, so nothing slips through while you are still setting up. The one exception is a child under 13: filtering starts once you have confirmed you are an adult, a check done through Kids Web Services, part of Epic Games.
You can also allow or block any individual site yourself, whatever the level says, from the browsing history on your phone. With more than one child, you can apply the same choice to the others at the same time.
A blocked site simply doesn't load. There is no page telling your child why, and no list of what they tried to reach and failed. Your child's phone does tell them, in its notice about supervision, that the sites it looks up are visible to you.
Paired Parent
For your child's own Samsung Galaxy or Google Pixel on Android 15 or newer. Set up at home.
Paired Parent is for a parent or legal guardian supervising a phone they provide to their own child. Every feature described here is enforced by the software on the child's phone; where a feature has limits, the page says so.
This site keeps a visitor log: the internet address the visit came from, the page asked for, and the time. Nothing on this site tracks you across other sites. What else we keep, and why, is on the Privacy page. The photographs on this site are illustrations, not photographs of real families.
